Get up close and personal with one of the most award-winning Clydesdale farms in the world and not to mention one of the most famous breeds of horse in the world; the Clydesdale!
You will get to experience the day-to-day operations of Grandview Clydesdales, and all aspects will be covered. This includes right from the beginning of a new Clydesdale life; which is the ultrasounds of the mares for breeding, to the birth of baby Clydesdales, all the way through to winning world championships or starring in famous commercials.

Before our tour, we will enjoy lunch at Juliette Falls Country Club. Lunch purchase on your own. See attached photo of menu.

Itinerary:

10:00 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

10:20 am- Depart Brownwood - behind the Brownwood Hotel and The Center for Advanced Healthcare (click here for map)

11:30 am- Lunch at Juliette Falls Country Club, limited menu - see attached photo. Lunch purchase on your own.

1:30 pm- 2-hour tour

4:30 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, Clydesdale Tour, bus driver tip & a bottle of water. Host gratuity is not included.

You will have entrance and access to one of the largest and most successful Clydesdale farms in the world for decades.

• You will have guided access to look and touch the most recognized and most famous breed of horse in the world, champion Clydesdales!

• You will be given a guided tour of the show barn where the show horses live and train out of before traveling all over North America to compete.

• You will get to see the training centers and how different horses get trained different ways.

• You will get to be up close and personal with some of the most famous Clydesdale stallions in the stallion barn.

• You will get a guided tour in the breeding barn where all of our mares are bred and where we collect, and ship cooled semen throughout North America and frozen semen throughout the world.

• You will get a tour of our laboratory where all the preparations are done for shipping semen.

• You will get up close to admire the craftsmanship of some of our beautiful wagons and carriages on property, that we use in competition and training.

• You will get to see some of the thousand plus awards and trophies that we have won and been honored with over the years.

• You will get to see the semi-trailers and other trailers that these champions get transported all over the country.

• You will be given guided access to see baby Clydesdales; this is one of the highlights of the tour for many people!

• You will enjoy the Grandview Clydesdale store onsite where merchandise and apparel along with antiques will be available. (coming soon)
