Sunken Gardens & Lunch at Three Birds Tavern - St. Petersburg, FL | Tuesday March 25, 2025
Sunken Gardens is a sunken botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city. As St. Petersburg's oldest living museum, this 100-year-old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. Unwind as you stroll through meandering paths, lush with exotic plants from around the world. Explore cascading waterfalls, beautiful demonstration gardens, flamingos and other exotic birds, and more than 5,000 tropical plants and flowers at one of the last remaining Florida roadside attractions. Closed-toed, stable shoes are recommended due to the historic and sometimes uneven walkways at The Sunken Gardens.
After our tour, we will enjoy lunch at Three Birds Tavern. The century old farmhouse carries the history of Old Florida, enveloped in magnificent oaks with a sprawling wraparound porch. Enjoy food from the scratch kitchen, local brews and a full bar. Lunch purchase is on your own.
