Heights Public Market is a food-lover’s dream. The 22,000 sq-ft market features an open floor plan with restaurants showcasing the top chefs and restaurateurs in the Bay Area. In addition to the market, there is full-service dining. After a delicious lunch, we will visit The Tampa Bay Rum Company; one of the oldest rum distilleries in Tampa. The ghost of Jose Gaspar and his marauding pirate crew can still be felt within the ancient walls of the distillery, and you will be transported to yesteryear whilst sampling Gaspar’s and Gasparilla Rum’s at the Buccaneer Bar. Our tour will include a tasting of all the rums.

Full cocktail menu available that features rums, vodka, bourbon, and gin.  All of cocktails are $13.  An assortment of local beers as well as wine is available.

Itinerary:

9:45 am- Depart Lake Sumter Landing (1045 Old Mill Run)

10:05 am- Depart Brownwood

11:30 am- Enjoy lunch and shopping at Armature Works

1:45 pm- Depart for Tampa Bay Rum Company - 5 minute drive

2:00 pm- Rum Tour and Tasting

4:45 pm- Approximate arrival time back in The Villages

Price includes transportation, distillery tour & tasting, bus driver tip and a bottle of water. Lunch purchase is on your own. Host gratuity is not included.
